Water nymph . With gold , layers of slips, engobes and glaze. 
I make work, reflecting that which is happening around me. 
This one was made at the start of summer and end of spring , where things were springing to life and energy was flowing outward. Wild swimmers were abundant in the rivers and lakes near me... it was a time of fullness and hope. 
I think this is what this sculpture represents for me.... a kind of gentle joy and full of watery loveliness.
